Electrifying up and coming pop act, PHANGS, is back with the right vibes for sunny days, rainy nights, and everything in between. PHANGS new song featuring James Droll “Im Gonna Die With My Tattoos” brings us on a journey through his unworldly creativity. Hailing from Nashville, PHANGS adds a swirl of synths atop bombastic rhythms to turn a room full of wallflowers into a family that accepts all. The song is energetic and vibrant on the surface, but on a deeper level, gives some insight into how much his tattoos mean to him. James Droll also accompanies PHANGS bringing another sound and smooth melody to track, taking audiences on a completely immersive listening experience. Phangs shares that, 'I’m Gonna Die With My Tattoos' was written and recorded in like 2 hours. I had the weird thought that my tattoos and the memories behind them would outlive my actual life as I was driving to the studio. As soon as I walked in, we slammed the tune. Then James came in and wrote his part that perfectly wrapped up my initial thought behind 'Tattoos'. This one is special to me and I hope you like it!” PHANGS has a lot of exciting releases lined up and he is a name that we are going to be hearing for a very long time. In 2020, PHANGS team independently produced a three-show event that went through his entire discography from his early days. PHANGS brought on special guests Tessa Violet, Super Whatevr, and 90s Kids. Also, at the end of last year, he was a special guest on Travis Mills' Apple Music show and he partnered with Switchfoot on their Melody League session. The touring machine has shared the stage with acts like NIGHTLY and Tessa Violet, and more. You can see PHANGS on a headlining tour this October of 2021, starting in Chicago and wraps up in Atlanta. PHANGS will also be performing at Milwaukee's Summerfest on Sept. 2nd, along with Cold War Kids, Foushee, Kennyhoopla, and more. PHANGS is receiving critical praise across the industry, validating him as a rising act for 2021!
