$lyce recently released the deluxe version of his album, “WETTiE,” and he displays that he knows exactly what he’s doing and where he’s going with his sound. This album is a good blend of the typical Internet-Money-sound and Hyperpop vocals. On paper, listeners may be skeptical at such a mesh of sounds, but $lyce executes this album so well that it is sure to shock people.

Usually, Internet Money makes beats that sound like you're floating in space, inclines artists to be melodic in some way, and prompts heartfelt lyrics. Hyperpop does the same thing but at a much higher pitch and exaggerated way. $lyce takes elements of each genre and adds his twist to them. He tones down the hyperpop sound but effortlessly displays his understanding of the genre's fundamentals. He also keeps the Internet-Money-type beats the same but picks beats that have leads to help aid the high pitch in his voice.

If this blend of genres is not enough to get you to listen, $lyce also attempts to connect with his listeners by telling stories of love and heartbreak. He wants to help people that are going through a similar situation but also raise their spirits through the power of his great music. Not only is he telling heart-wrenching tales of the past, but he’s also showing his listeners that they can end up where he is and will be through perseverance.
