The Lucrative Youth Are Setting A New Industry Standard

The music industry has been in a confusing place the last couple of years. Artists are finding themselves in a very unhealthy pay-to-play environment, with people trying to get a cut of their money from every angle. What the industry has been lacking in my opinion is a real artist development facility where artists can go to build their presence without it breaking their budget, while at the same time providing industry standard services in production, videography, engieneering etc.

I’ve recently been put onto The Lucrative Youth, a collective of creatives founded by Ernie Valladares who have been in operation since 2018. They specialize in everything an artist might need to further the development of their career, and run a world class studio down in Miami, Florida. Once a month, they do what’s called a “Lucrative Link” which invites artists, producers, engineers to come down and collaborate with one another free of charge. In today’s day and age, this is almost unheard of and shows just how much Ernie and the rest of the Lucrative Youth team really care about the people they work with. While they could be focusing on generating revenue, The Lucrative Youth understand the importance of supporting artists from the ground up, and build for long term success.

What makes The Lucrative Youth so dope is the fact that they also operate as a distribution company/record label, and release music under their brand. Last week, they premiered a brand new music video titled “Killin Shit” by Jbo, and it really shows the quality of which they operate at. From the video to the production, everything was done in house which is very impressive. Hopefully in the future, more companies like The Lucrative Youth move the same way. So if you’re in the Miami area, tap in with LY they’ll take care of you and get your career on the right track. Thanks for reading.
