Rari drops third single titled “For the Love”

In an age of auto-crooners and melody-dominated rap, it’s always nice to find artists who stick to the roots of hip hop. Portsmouth, VA wordsmith Rari delivers “For The Love”, a track that those who appreciate old school bar spitters can appreciate. Rari parallels the difficulties of living in Portsmouth with his rise as an artist with lines like “and I’m out here serving all these fiends out here lacking verses, perfect”. The double meaning of this particular verse shows Rari’s attention to detail and that he’s a student of the game in a climate where many bash the older generation of hip-hop.
