LongLiveMiel is Gearing up for Something Great

LongLiveMiel is an artist out of Detroit, MI, who has recently released a single titled "Season Of The Martian." Currently, the song is exclusively on SoundCloud, Audius, and Spinrilla, but it will release on all platforms on October 14th. The track is the lead single for his upcoming album, "Art <3's War," with a release date yet to be determined.

From the jump, the listener gets hooked by the beat. The producer and frequent collaborator of LongLiveMiel, Cease, created an ethereal beat reminiscent of some of the songs off Rx Papi's "Foreign Exchange." LongLiveMiel adds his unique Detroit cadence and style to create this new, effortlessly engaging sound. Cease constructed an open feeling with the ambiance of the beat. At the same time, LongLiveMiel brings his direct delivery and vocals to counterbalance the beat. These two seemingly opposing forces, in actuality, aid each other because the significant aspects of one shine through even brighter because of the same lacking elements of the other.

Besides how it sounds, the actual content and lyricism by LongLiveMiel are just as notable. He explained a story of a typical upbringing of a Detroit native. He told listeners that with time one must become self-regardless and take their transgressions with a grain of salt. He presents that some people may say they're intimidating, but most are just putting on a front. Lyrics nowadays don't feel real, but listeners can tell LongLiveMiel meant every syllable he uttered in this song.
